My name is Arup Sen. I’m a freelance self-taught web designer living in Sydenham, South East London. I teach yoga part-time and also build bicycle wheels. I love to ride fixed gear bicycles. This is quite a recent photo of me from September 2007.
This blog is mainly about me trying to achieve my goals in life by making them public. I started in December 2006 at the years end when I was thinking of the coming year. I wrote a list of goals for 2007 and then write a progress report at the end of each month. Knowing that others can see these goals gives me some incentive to achieving them.
I’m also using this blog as a repository for my ongoing learning process in my various fields of interest, such as web design, goal setting etc. By writing them up here, it forces me to write more clearly and succinctly. It also enables me to share what I have learned.
