april 2008/11 SJS track hubs 3-cross on Mavic Open Pro


A classic low budget combo. Mavic Open Pro rims are such a pleasure to work with. These are 36 hole rims laced 3-cross to SJS track hubs using DT Swiss Competition double butted spokes and brass nipples. The spoke lengths were 288mm both front and rear.

    Hi Arup,
    I keep surfing your files, great job, and great that you put all this info to everyone’s disposal, a big thanks (If you’re interested in sourdough breadmaking – and speak Spanish- I have an easy step-by-step guide on my blog).
    I’m thinking about getting these SJS hubs (since they’re good value and look great). I see (and read) that they have hollow axle, however, it’s not possible to fit a quick release skewer….or is it? :)
