june 2008/20 Condor UNO on Campagnolo Atlanta 1996

Condor Cycles in Gray’s Inn Road have started making their own fixed hubs called the UNO. The specs look very similar to the Formula hubs and the Zenith hubs. Very smooth bearings and decent track nuts. These were built onto Campagnolo Atlanta 1996 rims which have a good v-section, even deeper than the Velocity deep-v rims.
Radial front and 3-cross rear using DT Swiss Champion plain gauge spokes and brass nipples. The spoke lengths were 258mm at the front and 277mm at the rear. As they are v-section it is possible to take the tension up a bit higher than normal rims without any risks. So that’s what I did. That means stronger wheels.
