2009/1 Phil Wood on Mavic Open Pro 36-hole 3-cross
To kick off 2009 we have a set of Phil Wood hubs laced onto a pair of 36 hole Mavic Open pro rims in silver. A standard 3-cross pattern on both the front and rear wheels using ACI Alpina double butted spokes with brass nipples. Spoke lengths for both wheels were 288mm. A drop of Finish Line lubricating oil on the threads to help get a higher tension without rounding the nipples and to allow truing at a later stage. Velox cloth rim tape was only £1.20 each from cyclebasket.
