2009/26 Mavic m719 29er rims on Shimano Deore disc hubs
These wheels started life as an inquiry sometime last year and then got shelved. The emailing started again in June 2009 and I told him that I was no longer sourcing black spokes. So armed with a set of lengths he took it upon himself to find them. It took a few weeks but got there in the end.
Mavic m719 or 29er rims in black laced to Shimano Deore XT M756 disc hubs. On the front it was 32-hole and laced 3-cross. The spoke length was 290mm. The rear was 36-hole and laced 2-cross on the non-drive side and 3-cross crow’s foot on the drive side. This is a pattern I’ve done a couple of times now as it’s purported as being very strong on the wheel lacing information website
For the 2-cross the length was 278mm and on the drive side the crow’s foot was 270mm/286mm. These were Sapim Race spokes and DT Swiss Prolock nipples.
