Falafel from Gaby’s Deli and the Prince Charles Cinema
Today I had a falafel from Gaby’s Deli on Charing Cross Road opposite Leicester Square and then went to the Prince Charles Cinema. I used to do this every Tuesday afternoon for years when I used to teach lots of classes and had a long gap in the afternoon. I also became a member of the cinema in order to get discounted tickets and such like. Gaby’s make excellent veggie food and I was expecting the price to have increased a bit but only 50p on the falafel. Wow. The Prince Charles hadn’t changed much though. Even though I haven’t been there for ages I still receive their e-mail newsletter and with all the hype I was under the impression that it was almost a new cinema but it’s much the same as before. Quite comforting really.
What else went well today? I got loads of small things done like ordering spokes and other bike parts before heading out. I’m starting to feel a lot less stressed even though I feel like the year is starting properly in February.
