A very productive Good Friday

Friday is currently one of my working from home days where I mainly do website work and other things if time permits. Today being a bank holiday meant that the other guys in my flat were home which threw me a little bit but I soon recovered. Rather than working in my room I decided to station myself in the living room with bassdrive.com of course. I went to the local shop to get hot cross buns but they didn’t have any. I bought muffins instead but they were pretty awful. That was disappointing.

I had planned to work on two websites and by midday I had finished the first set of updates. Job done and invoice sent. Tick that one off the list.

Next was a visit from an old yoga student who wants to become a yoga teacher herself. We had lunch and yoga and the alternative world. She even made a cake for the occasion. It was interesting to think about all that world again and to talk to someone who is so dedicated to yoga. Kind of put me to shame and inspired me at the same time.

In the afternoon or late afternoon I should say I got on with updating another website but got a bit stuck when it came to making some decisions so had to defer to my client.

But one of the main things that went well was getting all my GTD summaries into a spreadsheet. That felt really good. Just to have them all in one place and to be able to see them all as columns next to each other. It was my first time using the Open Office spreadsheet which looks like any other spreadsheet but I’m kind of getting into Linux and open source software in general.
