upgraded to wordpress 2.2
A new thing for me but much easier than I thought. I have gone from version 2.0.5 to 2.2. It was all in the preparation and then 2 clicks was all that it took. Reactivated the plugins and it all seems to work fine. One thing that bothered me with the previous version was that the admin panel was a bit slow to load and refresh. And whenever you hit the publish button it would take at least 45 seconds. I have been using later versions of wordpress on other people’s sites and thought it was time that I upgraded. And I wanted to use the wp-grins plugin as well.

It’s a bit like cooking a stir-fry in a way. It’s all in the preparation. Lots of backing up. But then you feel safe. Now time to see what’s under the bonnet.
